Easy Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken (wings, thighs, tenders)
  • 1 c real pineapple juice
  • 1 can pineapple chunks (The amount depends on how well your family likes pineapple. I use a large can.)
  • 1/2 c dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 c soy sauce (I use low sodium because we watch our salt intake.)

  • Prepare crockpot. I use disposable liners. They are a godsend for cleanup!
  • Wash and cut chicken into small pieces. Tenders or nuggets work well for this recipe, as well as legs, wings, and thighs. Place in crockpot.
  • Mix pineapple, juice, brown sugar, and soy sauce and pour over chicken.
  • Cook for 6-8 hours or until done. Liquids should have thickened to make a nice sauce for the chicken.
  • Serve with rice and a green salad for an easy meal.
