Fall is the perfect time to plan for spring. If you want to have beautiful Spring-blooming blubs, such as tulips or hyacinths, fall is the time to plant.
This is also the best time to plant shrubbery and trees. Don’t wait until the ground freezes! Plant according to directions and mulch well. It’s also important to water periodically, especially if the winter is dry. The roots are growing down and out and will produce a more vigorous and healthy plant in the spring.
